Navan Senior Women’s 1st XV maintained their unbeaten streak in Leinster Women’s League Division 2 with an emphatic 51–5 victory over Port Dara Falcons on Sunday. The dominant display featured nine tries from Navan, underscoring their status as one of the league’s top contenders.
Player of the Match, Michelle Claffey, led the charge with two tries, while Áine Castles delivered a sensational performance, crossing the line four times. Additional tries came from Emily Jo White, team captain Aoife Ryan, Shona White, and three successful conversions from Anna Bolger.
The win leaves Navan just one point behind league leaders Athy, with the advantage of a game in hand, positioning them strongly in the title race.
Navan’s next fixture will be a home match against Arklow at Balreask Old on Sunday, 1st December, with a 1 p.m. kick-off.
