Navan Women's 2nd’s continued their winning run in Leinster Division 4 with a commanding 29-0 victory over Birr at Balreask Old. The hosts delivered a dominant performance, running in five tries to keep their league title hopes firmly on track.

The breakthrough came midway through the first half when Ciara Delahunt powered over the line to the right of the posts, with Anna McGarry adding the conversion. Minutes later, a brilliant charge-down by Keelan O’Connor led to Paula Keating pouncing on the loose ball for Navan’s second try.

After the break, Navan extended their lead with a well-worked try from Louise Coyle on the hour mark. Just four minutes later, Sophia Murdock showed her pace to touch down in the left corner. The victory was sealed in the final moments when Molly Egan crossed behind the posts, with McGarry slotting the conversion to complete a dominant display.

Navan’s Player of the Match was Ciara Delahunt, whose early try set the tone for the home side’s performance.

With this win, Navan remain at the top of the Division 4 table, edging Roscrea on points difference. Their final league fixture on Sunday, 9th March, sees them travel to Wanderers, knowing that victory will all but secure the Leinster Women’s Division 4 title.
