Tomorrow (Sunday), Energia Park, Donnybrook will host a double-header to launch both the Vodafone Women’s Interprovincial Championship and the PwC Under-18 Girls Interprovincial Championship, with a strong Navan RFC presence across both Leinster squads.
Senior Women – Leinster v Ulster, Kick-Off: 2:30pm
Navan RFC’s Rosie Searle is in line for her senior interprovincial debut, having been named by Head Coach Ben Martin among a largely uncapped group of replacements for Leinster’s opening match.
In the starting XV, Searle is joined by four players with Navan connections:
- Cara Martin
- Emma Brogan
- Kate Jordan
- Jade Gaffney – Vice-Captain for the Championship
The Leinster senior women’s backroom team also includes Navan RFC player/assistant coach Michelle Claffey, who has responsibility for the backs unit.

Under-18 Girls – Leinster v Ulster, Kick-Off: 5:30pm
In the day’s second match, Navan RFC’s Emma O’Rourke will start at Number 8 for the Leinster U18 Girls as they look to make a winning start to their campaign.
