๐ข๐ป ๐ง๐ต๐ถ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ญ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐ด๐ผ โ on 3rd September 1925 โ a group of local people came together to officially form a rugby club in Navan. From that meeting, Navan Rugby Football Club was born.
๐ The handwritten note pictured below is the first ever set of minutes taken at that founding meeting.
Affiliations soon followed with the North-East Area, the Leinster Branch and the IRFU, and after playing at various sites around Navan, the club found its permanent home at Balreask Old.
For a century now, Navan RFC has made a proud and ongoing contribution to the sporting and social fabric of both Navan and County Meath, while helping to grow Rugby Union across Leinster and Ireland.
