๐—ข๐—ป ๐—ง๐—ต๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐——๐—ฎ๐˜† ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฌ ๐˜†๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜€ ๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ผ โ€” on 3rd September 1925 โ€” a group of local people came together to officially form a rugby club in Navan. From that meeting, Navan Rugby Football Club was born.

๐Ÿ“œ The handwritten note pictured below is the first ever set of minutes taken at that founding meeting.

Affiliations soon followed with the North-East Area, the Leinster Branch and the IRFU, and after playing at various sites around Navan, the club found its permanent home at Balreask Old.

For a century now, Navan RFC has made a proud and ongoing contribution to the sporting and social fabric of both Navan and County Meath, while helping to grow Rugby Union across Leinster and Ireland.
