Navan RFC retained the President’s Cup in their annual challenge with Ashbourne RFC, held at Milltown House.

The day began with Minis fixtures from 9:30am, followed by a full Youths schedule, culminating in the U18 Boys game in the afternoon. Navan’s U9s enjoyed a strong start to the season, while the U16 Girls recorded a notable victory against their hosts.

With wins across the majority of age grades, Navan secured overall honours in what has become a popular pre-season tradition between the two County Meath clubs.

Both clubs acknowledged the efforts of players, coaches and parents in making the event a success, as preparations for the new season gather pace.
