The Men’s 3rd XV were edged out in a close contest at home to CYM on Saturday afternoon in Balreask Old.

The visitors managed three tries to Navan’s two, with a series of penalty kicks keeping the hosts within striking distance throughout. Despite sustained pressure late in the game, Navan were unable to find the decisive score needed to turn the result in their favour.

Number 8 Stuart Byrne delivered a standout performance, earning the Player of the Match, sponsored by The Central.

Navan will look to bounce back when they travel to face Old Wesley on Saturday, 1st November.
