The Women’s 3rd XV continued their Leinster League campaign with a hard-fought encounter against Wanderers 1st XV in Dublin, ultimately falling 15–5.
In a match blending youth and experience, Navan worked tirelessly throughout. Lisa O’Neill, named Player of the Match (sponsored by The Central), impressed with her athleticism and work rate in the tighthead role.
Sophia FitzHerbert, earning her second cap, crossed for Navan’s only try after excellent footwork and support play. Out-half Sarah Woodroofe controlled distribution well, while Shannon Meade and Sarah White put in strong defensive efforts.
Wanderers led 10–5 late in the game before adding a final try to seal the result. Navan now look ahead to their next fixture at home against Athy J1 on Sunday, 2nd November, where they will aim to build on their performance.
