The Women's 2nd XV delivered an emphatic performance at home, securing a convincing 29-0 shutout victory over Dublin University (Trinity) in the Leinster Women's League Division 3.
Although the women defended for the first 25 minutes, they never let Trinity touch down. In the second half, the team finally found their groove and came out attacking hard for all 40 minutes, leading to a commanding Navan victory.
The J1/2nd’s side dominated the match, crossing the line five times without reply and adding two successful conversions to secure a commanding win and a crucial bonus point. The team’s defensive effort was exceptional, ensuring the visiting Dublin University side was held scoreless throughout the contest.
The standout performer on the day was Kaetlin Wallace, who was named the Player of the Match.
The Women's 2nd XV will next be away to Roscrea on Sunday, November 23rd, with a 1:00pm kick-off.
